BREAKING NEWS! Well, kinda “broken” news by now… but since the fire in the Notre Dame Cathedral seems to have taken center stage this past week… an’ since work on the regular Bunz & Katz strip is delayed by rain or something… We are instead grasping for a diversion offered by an actual authority on religion – Angelcakes… a somewhat demoted Angel, and the co-star of “Wyndi the Jailbait Witch”, (Possibly still available in remainder bins)…” As an Angel, we thought perhaps her take on the dramatic rescue of various Sacred Relics from the fire may be of interest… As considering all the Sacred Relics exported from the Middle East, from the Fourth Century through the Crusades, Seems there oughta be enough pieces of the “True Cross” scattered around Europe to completely rebuild the cathedral’s roof, with enough left over for a Pronto Pup stand…
For those of you unfamiliar with Angelcakes (an’ *Ahem* slightly fallen Angel) She and Wyndi, (a Teen Trash Witch) first showed up in a story in RipOff Comix #27 and later in a very limited print run Comic book (My first attempt at digital comix)… Though none of that really matters for this bit – All the info you need is, She’s just a Smexy Fallen Angel with things other than Goodness on her mind…
Owch… guess those fluffy bedroom slippers don’t offer much protection for angelic toesies.. All of which goes to prove the ancient proverb, “Kicketh not at the metallic minion, for thereby be much wailing and gnashing of teeth… Thine, not his…”
I’m a li’l surprised that you or anyone recalls Angelcakes… Did you ever Glom the Wyndi comix or do you just recall her from Wyndi’s RipOff appearance?? The only holy relic in Paris I’m ready to believe in is the building itself – a masterpiece of western medieval architecture. Okay western civilization PONY UP! (Hold that thought – looks like they already raised over a billion bucks to rebuild. Looks like Quasimodo’s pad get’s a remodeling… maybe with a sprinkler system this time?)
