For whatever it’s worth, the eye infection is clearing up, though the vision does go a bit wonky at times… None the less I am inking a new page which is probably funnier than this current filler strip – or in any case, is more Vicious!
I went to the Bitch doctor, because I had the flu,
I asked the Bitch doctor, she told me what to do,
and then the Bitch Doctor worked her Voodoo Sockeroo
Ooh Eeh Ooh Ah Aah Ting Tang Walla Walla Bing Bang
Ooh Eeh Ooh Ah Aah Ting Tang Walla Walla Bing Bang
Ooh Eeh Ooh Ah Aah Ting Tang Walla Walla Bing Bang
She said, Ooh Eeh Ooh Ah Aah – Get well or I’ll punch you!
Shades of Ross Bagdasarian! It’s tough to think of many songs about doctors – about the best I can come up with is an old favorite, “Doctor Jazz”, written by King Oliver in 1926, though the definitive recording was by Jelly Roll Morton and his Red Hot Peppers… It kind’a makes you want to jump up an’ hop around in your dancing shoes!

For whatever it’s worth, here’s Ross Bagdasarian’s original
“Witch Doctor”, which charted Number 1 on U.S. Billboard in 1958…
